Ingomar uses 7 homeruns to defeat Walnut in division softball action

The Lady Falcons of Ingomar are no stranger to the long ball this season.

“If we are going to score runs, it is usually by hitting homeruns at the top of our lineup,” Ingomar Coach Andy Wilbanks said.

Ingomar got the homerun party started in the first inning with a pair of solo shots from Lauren Thompson and Carson Grisham and an early 2-0 lead.

The hits kept coming from there, with 5 players taking blasts over the fence for Ingomar.

All told, Ashley Forester and Gara Beth Self hit 2 each with Forester ending the day with 5 RBI. Katie Beth Hall added a 3 run shot to round out the scoring for the Lady Falcons.
