Myrtle picks up sweep over Falkner in volleyball action
Myrtle came out slow against Falkner in volleyball action on Thursday, trailing 10-9 in the first set against the Lady Eagles.
The Lady Hawks went on a roll from there, shaking off their rust and storming back for a 25-10 first set victory and a 3-0 sweep in the match.
Myrlte got a series of aces from Kinsley Gordon to close out the 2nd and 3rd sets.
The Lady Hawks took the contest by scores of 25-10, 25-11 and 25-18 to claim the victory.
