New Albany takes down Corinth in 4 sets to regain division lead
New Albany, winner of the last two division volleyball titles, knew to regain an outright share of the lead against Corinth they needed to win and avoid a 5th set.

The VolleyDogs nearly came away with a sweep of their rivals from Alcorn County except for a big rally from Corinth in the opening set but did get the win 3-1 with outstanding ball control and big attacks.
Greta Blakemore finished with 16 kills, inlcuding the match winner in the 4th set for a 25-23 win.
Rosalee Roberts and Alexis Mirfield maintained pressure at the net throughout the match while Maggie Moore and Roberts led the defense with 44 digs between them. Masey Adams led the match with 45 assists.
New Albany moved to 6-1 in division play and holds the tiebreaker over Corinth. Should they win out, they will clinch their third straight district title.
