Myrtle claims 2020 Union County title with win over New Albany in final

The Myrtle Lady Hawks built a big early lead and never looked back en route to clinching the Union County title on Saturday.

Myrtle jumped out to a 22-3 lead in the first quarter and held off a 2nd half rally from the Lady Bulldogs for a 62-50 victory.

The Lady Hawks got a complete all around game, including a suffocating defense that led to several east buckets.

Kinsley Gordon led the Lady Hawks with 29 points.

Kinsley Gordon was MVP.

Kelsey Ledbetter led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points.
