New Albany gets pair of walk off victories in Union County tournament

The Lady Bulldogs of New Albany got a pair of dramatic walkoff victories at the Union County Tournament.

The Lady Dawgs can thank Alexis Mirfield for them both.

Mirfield came through with a 2-RBI single to defeat West Union 5-4 then hit a sac fly to drive in Gracie Sanford and defeat Ingomar 4-3 in the very next game.

New Albany went 2-2 on the day, picking up the pair of walkoff wins and losing to Myrtle and eventual champion East Union.
