East Union wins sixth straight Union County tournamemt thanks to clutch hits, dominant pitching

The East Union Lady Urchins are your Union County champions thanks to clutch hitting and dominant pitching in a super competitive tournament field this year.

East Union only allowed 6 earned runs for tournament and won a pair of games 2-1, including the title clinching win over Myrtle in the final game.

On the day, Emily Coggin had 5 RBI’s and was sensational on the mound to ensure the title stayed with the Lady Urchins.

The Final scores for East Union were:
2-1 over Myrtle, 2-1 over West Union, 9-6 over New Albany and 7-2 over Ingomar.
