Ingomar wins decisive game 3 to advance in state playoffs
Ingomar clawed their way into the second round of the MHSAA baseball playoffs in a hard fought three game series against Bruce.
The Falcons took games one and three of the series, the last one a run rule 11-1 victory over the visitng Trojans.
JD Gault got the win on the mound in that deciding game and the series clinching hit in the bottom of the fifth inning.
JD and Carson Gault ended game 3 with a pair of hits, as did Zack Koon and Kelon Hall, who contributed a 2 RBI single the at-bat prior to Gault’s game winner.
Ingomar (12-8-1) moves on with Game 1 scheduled for Thursday at Riverside. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday at home for the Falcons. A Game 3, if needed, would be played Saturday back at Riverside.
