West Union advances to North Half with sweep of Biggersville

West Union allowed only one run across 14 innings and 3 pitchers to pick up a sweep over Biggersville and advance to the North Half Championship series.

Game one starter Ryder Willard allowed only 1 hit over 4 innings before the game was cancelled due to storms and Luke Willard came in to hold the Lions to 3 hits and one earned run as the Eagles claimed a 4-1 victory.

Luke Willard and Boo Robertson provided the offense as each hit a double, with Willards going for a pair of RBI. Braden Willard also contributed an RBI

In game two, starter Cole Phillips went the distance, striking out 13 batters and allowing only two hits. Phillips, Robertson and Luke Willard each had multiple hits in the 4-0 victory.
