New Albany has home game with 3rd straight playoff trip after district title
New Albany is starting their quest towards a state champioship with a home game on Thursday against highway 15 rival Pontotoc.
The Lady Bulldogs achieved one of their seasons goals with a district championship thanks in large part to a thrilling victory over Corinth on October 3rd.
New Albany is 21-9 on the season after finishing 7-1 in their district.
They lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2017 and 2018 against Lewisburg.
Pontotoc enters the contest as the #2 seed with a 5 game winning streak and a 20-11 record.
The match is set to begin at 6 pm at Memorial Gym tonight.
