Union County Schools to close for additional week due to Coronavirus

Union County schools will be closed an additional week, according to the district office. This comes as sports are also suspended by th MHSAA.

From UCSD:

The Union County School District will be closed for the week of March 23 through March 27. After much consideration and deliberation with state and local officials the district feels closing the school another week is in the best interest of the students and staff.

We realize it creates a hardship on families and we apologize for that. However, safety for our students and staff are our number one priority.

We ask that you encourage your children to read and complete academic activities that are currently available to you and your children. The school district will be making some long term plans regarding instruction.
