Nick Saban Tests Positive for COVID-19
On Wednesday afternoon, the University of Alabama athletic department announced that football head coach Nick Saban and athletic director Greg Byrne have tested positive for COVID-19.
This news comes off the heels of Alabama’s 63-48 victory over Ole Miss and in preparation of a possible “game of the year” candidate in third-ranked Georgia.
On Wednesday, Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin said his team was battling COVID-related issues for the first time in season, so it leaves one to wonder if these issues for both programs comes as a result of their Saturday battle or are distinct in nature.
